Kim began her career as a planning technician for the City of Edmonton, where she was involved in creating maps as well as addressing and organizing community engagement events. After 15 years, she transitioned to private consulting at Stantec, which provided her valuable insights into the development community and the opportunity to influence projects at their initial stages. After 4 years with Stantec, Kim returned to the City of Edmonton.
